A Race Night to Remember
On Friday 14 March Koru Care New Zealand will be taking over Alexandra Park for the Koru Care Race Night.
The race night will be an opportunity for people to come together, enjoy a fun night at the races and at the same time help Koru Care raise funds for their annual trip to Disneyland.
This will be a fun night with harness racing, Koru Care’s own version of horse racing with fantastic prizes; a full traditional carvery menu and much more, including a silent auction with items donated by a variety of business keen to support the work of Koru Care.
Tickets to the Koru Care Night at the Races are $55 per person, including meal, can be booked by emailing info@korucare.co.nz.
For over 30 years Koru Care New Zealand has been taking children from throughout the country on the trip of a lifetime, children from all walks of life – with ongoing medical conditions and terminal illness look forward to the opportunity to get away from it all, and be a real Kiwi kid for a couple of weeks.
And it’s only through the support and generosity of the community that Koru Care are able to provide these trips, and the Koru Care Race Night is a way you can help support this organisation make wishes come true for children.
"These trips are a highlight for kids from throughout the country, and without the support and generosity of our sponsors and supporters these trips just wouldn’t be possible.” Ann Bain, Chairperson of Koru Care NZ said.
