Green Agricultural Innovation Awards Come To New Zealand For The First Time

2014 sees World renowned Dr Christine Jones the founder of Amazing Carbon, as the key judge and speaker at New Zealand’s inaugural Green Agricultural Innovation Awards (GAIA) this August in a range of events showcasing the success and innovation of farmers and growers adopting ‘biological’ principles.
The awards are open to all farmers and growers as a celebration of their success and also recognition of their commitment to improving the quality of our food and our environment. Christine, with a host of other highly respected individuals, will be on the judging panel offering a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
Nominations for these awards which cover 8 key areas such as:
• Innovation
• Transition
• Youth
• Dairy
• Pastoral
• Horticultural
• Viticulture
• Consultant of the Year
Awards will close early May with the award ceremonies held in August. It is planned that field days and award dinners will be hosted in Christchurch and Rotorua with Christine speaking at both dinners, optimising the chance for as many people to hear her speak as possible.
Events will also showcase the wide range of supply and service companies which provide support to this emerging and exciting industry leading the way in fulfilling on New Zealand’s brand promise!
