A huge crowd was on hand to welcome best selling American author, Dr. Will Tuttle to New Zealand on Thursday night.
Dr Tuttle, author of the best selling book, The World Peace Diet, began his much anticipated New Zealand Tour this week, speaking to a near-capacity audience at the Canterbury Horticultural Society in Christchurch.
Dr. Tuttle spoke about how we have to eat more sustainably. "If we keep going the way we are going, the climate is not going to be able to support the huge amounts of methane, nitrous oxide and other things that are de-stabilising the climate, such as cutting down the rainforests and over fishing the oceans," he said. "As we have more people on the Earth, we have to eat in a more environmentally sustainable way".
“Dr. Tuttle’s message of respect and compassion for all others, as articulated in The World Peace Diet has been very well received by his New Zealand audience. His presentation is positive and uplifting. We’re looking forward to even larger audiences in Wellington, Auckland and Hamilton in the coming week” said New Zealand Tour coordinator, Amanda Sorrenson.
Dr. Tuttle will be speaking in New Zealand until February 26. Full details can be found on the Tour website.
