Satire Site Gets World Section and Comic Strip
Online media publication ‘The Chop’ has launched a World News section following requests from readers, and a comic strip entitled ‘Pudding’ which so far has included Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un in starring roles.
“We’ve had great feedback from our readers, good and bad, and it’s nice to see people from far flung countries enjoying the chopped and seasoned news from here in New Zealand” said Ed Potts, one of the founders. “We were worried what US or UK folk would think of our spin on their news too, but they seem to like it” he explained.
The satirical site is now read all over the world and has over 150,000 readers in just 14 weeks.
