Plucking upon the strings of Wellingtonians’ hearts is Love Songs Live at Museum of Wellington City & Sea in February. Singing songs of love are local Wellington artists who will court, enchant and romance you with their smooth strumming and singing throughout the evening.
The first set of songs begins at 6pm with a short intermission, and the following set starts at 7.30pm. Bring a gold coin for love song requests and stroll around the Museum with a loved one while being serenaded by a wonderful Wellington artist and learning more about Wellington’s rich history. What better way to celebrate love than with Wellington and your true love.
The programme is part of the Love Letters to Wellington month at the Museum. Join us in our Te Upoko o te Ika a Maui exhibition space to write what you love about Wellington. Find letters uploaded to our Blogspot page online this February.
