BLOOD BECOMES FIRE
NOVEMBER TOUR
With feedback still ringing in ears and shards of beer glass being pulled out of limbs, Beastwars return from a triumphant Melbourne tour to announce a seven-show trek across New Zealand in November 2013.
This, their final NZ tour in support of the hugely successful album Blood Becomes Fire, sees the band play to loyal fans in Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland as well as returning to this years Tattoo and Art Festival in New Plymouth and venturing to new frontiers, Masterton and Napier.
Following news that Nick Keller is nominated for "Best Album Art" at the 2013 Vodafone NZ Music awards for Blood Becomes Fire (he also won for Beastwars in 2011) the band are excited to have a set list that includes songs from the new album that have never been played live before and a taste of the new music being readied for future releases.
These will be the last shows for Beastwars in New Zealand for 2013 until they grace Big Day Out and Homegrown attendees with their thunderous presence then focus 2014 on recording a new album and more tours in Australia.
"The level of power projected by Beastwars, here on their debut Australian tour, was unfathomable... something you’d expect from an encore-demanding stadium crowd... I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen a crowd lose their minds in such a manner." - Beat Magazine
