Celebrating Human Rights - Kapiti Speaker’s Corner
Kapiti Speaker’s Corner will see a mid-day feast for yuh ears (if you can feast on things with your ears) of politics and poetry on Saturday 25 May at 12:00. Turn up and you’ll get a laugh and hear stimulating discussion, and have your say – about what ever you want!
Kapiti Speaker’s Corner is between the Kapiti Coast District Council Building and the Paraparaumu Library.
This week will see the first in a series of speeches on the government’s asset sales programme and electricity prices with the view from the Greens. Government and Labour speakers will be coming over the next few weeks.
In addition Kapiti poets Gill Ward and Shane Cave will also provide a bit of entertainment and anyone passing by can have their say or provide some witty challenges to the speakers.
Be there and have your say or hear your fellow Kapiti Coasters having theirs.
