South Seas Picnic Lawn.
South Seas Picnic Lawn presents a free event as part of The Finge Festival 2013.
Brave hearted Southern Sea citizens combine forces to bring an evening of artistic expression.
On February 16th from 5-11pm on the Lagoon Lawn ( next to the Saint John’s Bar on Welington waterfront ) there will be a large 2M square, hand constructed outdoor aluminium frame which, when darkness falls, will have a screen inserted for projection.
A masked arrival by boat via the lagoon will be welcomed to open the space.
Artists will paint during the early evening-inspired by their interpretation of what it means to be in this adventuresome part of the world.
Sculpture and design will assume strategic placement.
Other live artistic entertainment will share the space and time.
