Country99TV Proudly Presents A Brand New Line Up For 2013.
From 7.30pm, Friday February 1, the channel is rolling out a new look, with themed appointment viewing nights: From Lifestyle Mondays, through to Rural Sport Sundays, and a great mix of Equestrian, Agri-Business, Music, Entertainment and exclusive New Zealand shows in between.
Plus, to launch this exciting new line up, we invite everyone to preview Country99TV’s theme nights when the channel is Open to View on the SKY platform – from 6am, Friday February 1 through to 10pm, Thursday February 7.
AGRI-BUSINESS FRIDAYS 7.30pm - 10.30pm
Tune in tonight for news, interviews, and all the inside agri-business information farmers and growers need to improve their bottom line. From 7.30pm Country99TV’s weekly current affairs show, Point of View, will feature robust debate around the key issues affecting the New Zealand rural sector; we get in-depth insights into US farming (Farmweek, 8.00pm; AgPhD, 9.30pm and Farming Sunday, 10.00pm); and from February 8, Country99TV exclusively presents a brand new series of the award-winning Australian rural issues series, Landline (8.30pm).
SATURDAYS – MUSIC MUSTER 7.30pm - 10.30pm
Country99TV is the home of country music in New Zealand. Our toe-tapping Saturday night line-up includes profiles and features on the cream of the country music scene (Music Row Profiles, 9.30pm), an award-winning music video show (Inside Music Row, 9.00pm), veteran artists and brand new talent (TruCountry, 10.00pm), not to mention the country music legend himself, Marty Stuart (The Marty Stuart Show, 7.30pm).
RURAL SPORT SUNDAYS 7.30pm - 10.30pm
Sunday nights on Country99TV cover the full spectrum of rural sports – from high adrenalin bull-riding (Pro Bull 2013, 7.30pm) and all-American tractor battles (National Tractor Pulling Championships, 8.30pm) through to tips and tricks on fly fishing (Fly Fish TV, 9.30pm) and the very best of New Zealand’s own working dogs (NZ Dog Trials, 9.30pm).
LIFESTYLE MONDAYS 7.30pm - 10.30pm
Monday nights showcase the huge variety of rural lifestyles both in New Zealand and overseas. From historic country churches and rustic shearing sheds in New Zealand (NZ Rural Structures, 7.30pm); to insights into US dairy farming (The American Dairy, 8pm); tried and tested advice on managing your garden, household and farm (Farmer’s Almanac, 8.30pm); and the best barbecue techniques from around the world (Primal Grill, 10pm).
EQUESTRIAN PERFORMANCE TUESDAYS 7.30pm - 10.30pm
The competition heats up on Tuesday nights with New Zealand’s best equestrian event coverage. Country99TV proudly presents highlights from some of the top riding action in the world: From the 2012/2013 FEI World Cup Jumping series at 7.30pm, to show jumping at Spruce Meadows, the world’s premier venue at 8.30pm, and FEI World Cup Dressage at 9.30pm.
WEDNESDAYS – MADE IN NEW ZEALAND 7.30pm - 10.30pm
Wednesday nights are a true celebration of rural life in New Zealand. With Country99TV exclusives looking at the lives, lifestyles and livelihoods of the people at the forefront of our dairy industry (NZ Dairy Farmer, 7.30pm); the fascinating stories and history of New Zealand farm equipment (Vintage NZ Farm Machinery, 8.00pm); insights into successful stud farms (Stud Tour, 8.30pm) and finishing with a gentle stroll through some of New Zealand’s most beautiful gardens (Garden Rambles, 9.30pm).
THURSAYS – EQUESTRIAN MAGAZINE 7.30pm - 10.30pm
For those who love horses, it’s all on Thursday nights on Country99TV. From the breathtaking feats of Women’s Pro-Rodeo (7.30pm) and All American Cowgirl Chicks (9.00pm), through to the latest natural horsemanship techniques (Horse Master with Julie Goodnight, 8.30pm; and Parelli Horsemanship Apprentice, 10.00pm); and a travel show with a difference, (Equitrekking, 9.30pm) – Thursday nights live and breathe horses.
