2013 Road To The Young Farmer Final
The Road to the Young Farmer Final television series stretches the length and breadth of New Zealand with the ultimate aim of determining New Zealand’s top Young Farmer.
The series, hosted by Mark Leishman, follows the fortunes of eight Young Farmers, all under 31 years of age who battle it out over 15 hours in one of the toughest competitions in the country.
The series airs on TVNZ Heartland from 31st March, Channel Manager for TVNZ Heartland Philippa Mossman says, “this competition is not for the faint-hearted, it really is blood, sweat and tears and it is incredible to see the seven winners emerge from such strong competition all across the country. We’re excited to be capturing all the action on TVNZ Heartland in Road To The Young Farmer Final.”
From Whangarei down to Waimumu, the Road To The Young Farmer Final covers the seven Regional Finals and whittles down the 56 candidates to the seven outstanding achievers who make it through to the Grand Final.
The winner receives thousands of dollars’ worth of prizes and has the honour of being named New Zealand’s ‘ANZ Young Farmer Contest Champion’.
