Bill Davidson To Visit New Zealand For H.O.G Rally And Harley-Davidson
110th Anniversary Celebration
Monday 14th January 2013: Bill Davidson, the great-grandson of Harley-Davidson co-founder, William A. Davidson, will visit New Zealand for the
first time to join the iconic brand’s 110th Anniversary celebration in Auckland from 14th-16thFebruary 2013 for the 23rd
NZ National Harley Owners Group (H.O.G) Rally.
Thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts are expected to flock to the Ellerslie Events Centre for the rally as part of the
brand’s yearlong celebration of its 110th Anniversary and 30th Anniversary of H.O.G. The action-packed weekend will
parallel a number of similar anniversary events in multiple cities across the world – from Auckland and Melbourne to
Rome and Milwaukee that showcase the unity of Harley-Davidson riders and fans who come together to embrace the brand’s
ability to fulfil the dreams of personal freedom.
Vice President of the Harley-Davidson Museum®, Bill Davidson said, “I am looking forward to the NZ National H.O.G. Rally
and joining our fans in New Zealand in celebrating Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary. It’s always a pleasure to meet,
speak with and ride alongside Harley-Davidson enthusiasts.”
The 2013 NZ National H.O.G Rally will incorporate guided tours of the Auckland region, drag bike simulators, tech talks,
Harley Demo Rides, rider formation displays, Chapter Games, local and international tattoo artists and the renowned
Saturday Thunder Run. Each evening will feature star-studded entertainment such as “Give It A Girl,” the iconic NZ
female band which includes Margaret Ulrich, Annie Crummer, Debbie Harwood and Sharon O’Neil.
Tickets for members of the public will be on sale from Tuesday 15th January.
