More than friends but less than lovers!
Relationships are like a Gobstopper - if you want to get to the sweetest part, you’ll have to suck at it long and hard – and remember not to bite.
Gobsmacked: Showbiz and Dating, a musical-theatre-meets-cabaret showcase of Split Personalities, Spoilt Divas, Spirit-fingers and Spilt Chocolate Cake, will take centre stage at the 2013 NZ Fringe Festival.
With sell-out successes in Australia, NZ born and bred cabaret star Jamie Burgess is finally bringing his show home.
Starring Jamie and his Aussie counterpart Nikki Aitken, Gobsmacked commiserates and celebrates the 'fabulous-darling' single life in a rapid fire of non-stop laughs and riotous words of wisdom that will leave you wondering what will happen next.
With all original music, witness the duo who are more than friends but less than lovers, as they tackle the funny, sometimes sad but never boring life of a single girl trying to make it in show business whilst searching for a relationship that lasts. Who knows - the idea of a single-girl’s ‘Knight In Shining Armour’ may actually be standing right beside her. So what if he’s wearing, well... ‘Rainbow Armour’ instead!
