Save the date: Wellington's Santa Parade
The many thousands of Wellingtonians who enjoy kicking off the festive season with the Santa Parade, and thinking they
may not have heard much about this year's parade, will be relieved to know Santa's still coming to town.
The Council has decided to run the parade closer to Christmas this year. And in the spirit of making a big Christmas
splash, we've decided to not only hold Santa's post-parade party for kids but also the annual Exodus Carols by
Candlelight on the same day, both at Waitangi Park.
The big day will be Sunday 9 December. The parade will start at 2pm from Lambton Quay, Santa’s Party in the Park at
3.30pm and the Exodus Carols by Candlelight at 7.30pm.
