Anything Can Happen, When Ellie Goulding Runs This Town With Nike
Nike New Zealand is proud to present ELLIE RUNS, a bold new mission in music and running, incorporating the highly anticipated arrival to Auckland of UK breakout artist, Ellie Goulding.
Performing her first ever New Zealand live shows at Auckland’s 'The Studio' on October 25th and 26th, Ellie is also teaming up with Nike for its weekly Run Clubs.
The Brit Award winning indie-pop artist is an avid runner and known for pounding the pavement with her fans throughout different cities across the world whilst on tour. Nike is offering a unique opportunity for select fans to meet Ellie at a special Nike+ Run Club along an inner city Auckland route and then attend her sold out concert the following night.
To have the chance to win this experience with Ellie, Nike is inviting runners to take part in the Nike+ Run Club at Auckland’s Britomart, October 17th at 6pm. Winning runners will be selected via the NIKE RUNNING NEW ZEALAND Facebook page, all you need to remember is your phone so you can run with Nike+ and be in with a chance to win. With the message of Ellie’s new single ‘Anything Can Happen’ ringing true, there will be surprises along the way to keep runners motivated, as well as ELLIE RUNS Nike merchandise.
Runners from Wellington and Christchurch have an opportunity to get in on the action too, stay tuned to the NIKE RUNNING NEW ZEALAND Facebook page for all the details.
The winners will then meet Ellie the following week, take her for a special run and receive tickets to her show.
The 25-year old singer released her debut album ‘Lights’ after bursting upon the British musical landscape in 2010, selling more than 5 million copies of the single ‘Lights’. With a vocal style compared to the likes of Kate Nash, Lykke Li and Tracey Thorn, Goulding is some of the world’s hottest young musical property, and on the eve of release of her new album Halcyon (released Oct 12th), New Zealand is treated to her live show for the first time.
For more information on how to take part, visit the NIKE RUNNING NEW ZEALAND Facebook page.
