some of the worst in the developed world and outcomes for Maori and Pacific youth are seen as the worst of the worst.
This week Marae Investigates looks behind the statistics and talks with John Tamihere, CEO of Waipareira Trust, one
organisation that's trying to turn the tide on youth unemployment and Mereana Te Pere, a youth leader from South
Auckland.
Plus we pay tribute to the late Sir Paul Reeves and profile an All Black on the come back. Israel Dagg has overcome
serious injury to be ready for the World Cup. We go home with him to the Hawkes Bay to meet the whanau, community and
school who have worked hard to help him achieve his All Black jersey.

CTV COLLAPSE - WHAT HAPPENED?
It's like a WW2 bombsite ... a huge pile of rubble and twisted reinforcing steel on a deserted site on the fringe of
Christchurch. If you look closer, there's a small sign wedged into the spoil. It reads "CTV" and is a silent and
poignant memorial to 115 lives lost when the building collapsed in the Christchurch earthquake. Ever since there have
been questions ...why did this building collapse with such tragic consequences when others around are still standing?
Well ... that pile of rubble may now have given up some of its secrets. SUNDAY has taken construction plans for the CTV
building plans to the United States for analysis. We have the results of that analysis.

AN ANGEL CALLED PAUL
Genelle Guzman-McMillan was the last person pulled alive from the ruins of the World Trade Centre. For twenty-seven
hours she lay trapped in the debris most of that time comforted by someone called "Paul". "I've got you Genelle" he
reassured her and he held her hand until the firemen came and pulled her out. But Paul never existed. There was no
fireman or rescuer called Paul . Was he the miracle she prayed for while she lay trapped? Was he the angel sent to
protect her? Genelle Guzman-McMillan talks to Ian Sinclair about her experience.
