SIKA, renowned as a leading exponent of Didjeridoo will present ‘SACRED HOOP’ TALK / SOUND JOURNEY: a fascinating invitation to delve deeply into the esoteric world of sound & healing. Sika's highly amusing stories carry us into the world of magic and power. 'There is more to this world than meets the eye'. We will also take a Shamanic Journey, so please bring a blanket to lie on. Discover your part in The Sacred Hoop!
To be held Wednesday 18 November at the Blockhouse Bay Boatclub, Auckland on at 7:30-9pm Entrance: $10 at door
SIKA, live in concert, will present an extraordinary performance on one of the world’s most evocative musical instruments, the Australian Didjeridoo. Much more than a mere drone, it is capable of sounding like several instruments at the same time, in the hands of one so experienced. Sika does actually play Didjeridoo, drum and percussion all at the same time. Added to this, he subtly includes soundscapes and rhythms recorded in his studio. 'It is time for the Sacred Hoop to be joined and for us all to be in our power".
"Sika doesn't just play the Didjeridoo...he becomes it".
To be held Wednesday 25th Nov at Blockhouse Bay Boatclub, Auckland. 7.30-10pm. Entrance: $20 at door (gold coin for kids up to age 14) Children are always welcome at Sika events.
