Thanks for the incredible interest we have had so far for our Music, Marketing and Promotion workshop on the 17th November. Because of the great response we have decided to hold another IMNZ workshop on the 3rd of December: Structuring and taxation for record labels and music managers. On the IMNZ charts this week: In at number five is the first ever live album from the Black Seeds 'Live Vol. 1'. Twelve awesome tracks recorded in venues around the world over the last six years. The guys are out on the road this month promoting it with a full nationwide tour, check em out if you can. Shapeshifter take the number one spot on the singles chart with 'Dutchies'and Nathan King holds onto the number one airplay spot with 'Bury Me'. Choice one.

IMNZ WORKSHOP - Structuring and Taxation for Record Labels and Music Managers - 3rd December 9am to 12:30pm
Learn how to structure your music business activities simply and effectively through this practical halfday workshop. Course content will include an overview of common tax deductions available for small businesses, standard royalty and mechanical payments from labels to artists, what can't be recouped, what do/don't you pay mechanicals on, what is the place of promo content, doing business offshore, and plenty more. Participants are also elegible for one on one follow up coaching sessions after the workshop to discuss how to implement what they have learnt into their business.
