Edmonds: New Zealand’s Cooking Heritage now Online
www.edmondscooking.co.nz
Iconic Kiwi brand Edmonds is expanding out of the kitchen and onto the computer.
Fresh from the centenary celebrations for its legendary cookery book, Edmonds has, this week, launched its own
interactive website on Monday 15th December, 2008.
For those occasions when your mother (or mother-in-law) is unavailable to give you cooking tips, visit
www.edmondscooking.co.nz. You will have instant access to recipes, the full range of Edmonds products, recipe video
clips and the latest Edmonds news such as competitions and exciting products about to be launched.
Of course Edmonds has plenty of handy practical tips, for example:
• Caught short with no self-raising flour? Jump online to find out by adding 1 teaspoon of baking powder to 1 cup of
plain flour you can make your own.
• Or, by microwaving garlic cloves for 15 seconds the skins will slip right off.
Keen cooks and bakers will also be able to share their favourite tips on recipes.
Edmonds Senior Brand Manager, Lorna Thomson said “We developed the website to provide the thousands of dedicated Edmonds
devotees with an online community where they can interact.
“Everyone loves new recipe ideas for everyday meals and we have included some new family favourites in our virtual
recipe book”.
“Interest in the Edmonds brand is phenomenal and now we have a place where Edmonds facts and history can be easily
accessed, bringing Edmonds’ extraordinary cooking heritage firmly into the 21st Century,” says Thomson.
