From Out West to the Best
A purchase of 42BELOW vodka at King Dicks in New Lynn meant more than great drinks for Aucklanders Greg and Christine Cowell this month as they won 42BELOW’s Best Bars promotion.
“I loved the sound of the trip and kept the necktag in the drawer at work, now that I’ve won, I’m going to frame it.” Greg said on learning he had won.
The Cowell’s will start their trip at Mollies Hotel in Auckland’s Herne Bay, visiting five of New Zealand’s finest bars before flying to Sydney, Los Angeles, New York, London, Paris and Hong Kong.
The couple will spend three nights in each city, hosted by 42BELOW Brand Ambassadors as they visit six or seven of the best bars the world has to offer.
The Cowell’s enviable itinerary includes visits to Auckland’s Suite and Mea Culpa; Sydney’s Longrain; The Viper Room and Crown Bar in L.A.; The Box, Public and Apotheke in New York; London’s Milk & Honey, LAB and Royal favourite, Mahiki; Buddha Bar in Paris and finishing with Hong Kong’s exotic Aqua and Dragon-I.
Greg and Christine reunited after being “young lovers” (they have known each other since they were four years old) and married last year.
