Last night saw the global launch of the Jaquie Brown Diaries Series One DVD at the Nineteen42, 42BELOW’s brand space on the edge of Auckland’s fantastic Britomart development.
A crowd of one hundred friends, family and the crispy edge of New Zealand’s comedic talent were on hand to toast Jaquie, the cast and crew.
42BELOW’s support went beyond the supply of world class drinks in its support for Jaquie’s endeavour, financing the acquisition of the global music rights for the DVD series.
“A big thanks to a great little company, 42BELOW, without them this just wouldn’t have been possible” gushed Jaquie at the start of her vote of thanks to the assembled crowd.
Paul Dibbawayan, 42BELOW Global CEO said “The story of a group of talented, young and hungry New Zealanders looking for a chance to go global had a strong resonance with the 42BELOW story, we are extremely happy to be involved in taking world class New Zealand humour to the world.”
The DVD goes on sale today and can be bought at Borders and Whitcoulls outlets across the country.
