The Mashup Mafia are proud to announce that Low Rollers will host it's second annual Christmas charity appeal for the
Auckland City Mission on Thursday 18th of December at Auckland's leading night life venue The Carpark Bar. So after the
remarkable contribution put forward by the Auckland drum & bass community last year, we're back to do it again - except this time, on a much much much larger scale!!
:::Last year was amazing, how could you possibly top that lineup?:::
This year we are working hard alongside key sponsors to bring one of the biggest names in drum and bass - FUTUREBOUND -
direct from the United Kingdom here to Auckland for one night only! We're also planning a mind blowing audio-visual
experience like never before, and we've even drawn support acts from around the country for what we believe is going to
be the biggest feel-good drum and bass event of 2008!
::How can I help?::
The Christmas period is the busiest period for the Mission and we believe this year it's going to be their hardest ever.
Thanks to our sponsors we've covered the cost of Futurebound and whilst he's commanding $30+bf in other locations around
New Zealand, we ask that you do just two things to get entry on Thursday 18th December:
1) Make a decent donation/contribution on the night - ideas for these are down below!
2) And tell at least 5 of your friends about the Auckland City Mission, or forward this event/flyer to your friends to

Brendan Collins, aka Futurebound, has been pushing drum & bass from Viper's headquarters in Liverpool now for over five years. Together with production partner Matrix, the pair
produced a blistering album entitled 'Universal Truth' in 2007 which brought their sound into the mainstream.
Their unique production style of melodic vocal, cinematic sounding beats were picked up by everyone from the likes of
Zane Lowe through to Justin Timberlake, for whom they eventually produced a remix for the track, 'Love Stoned' on
Sony/BMG.
Viper Recordings has grown to be a massively respected label with releases from State of Mind, Moving Fusion, The
Brookes Brothers, Baron, Shock One and J Majik and Wickaman to name a few. Whether he's destroying venues such as Fabric
(London), Womb (Tokyo), or in the studio, you know that you're in for a unique journey transcending the spectrum when it
comes to the sound of Futurebound.

How can you help the Auckland City Mission this Christmas?
===============================================
To make Christmas happen for every Auckland child we need the assistance of the Auckland community. The key ways to
support the Mission this Christmas are:
::Monetary Donation
It costs the Mission over $4 million a year to provide its services to the community. We rely on the majority of our
funding from the Auckland Community. Please give generously.
::Presents
Donating new, unwrapped presents for children (under 18 year olds). The Mission relies on donations to supply the 25,000
Christmas presents we distribute. All presents are new and are given to families/community groups unwrapped with a
supply of wrapping paper. Providing the presents unwrapped allows the parents the joy of wrapping their children's
presents themselves. Our greatest need for presents is for children over 13 years, as these are the age groups we
usually run short of presents for. Items suitable for older children and teenagers include books, sports equipment,
costume jewellery, movie tickets, caps, socks, wallets, sunglasses, toiletry items.
::Items for Hampers
Donating items to put in our 700 Christmas Hampers. In the two weeks before Christmas, people receiving food assistance
from the Mission not only receive our standard food parcel; they are also given a Christmas Hamper. The Hampers enable
families and individuals to celebrate Christmas in their own homes. Christmas Hampers are also delivered to all our
elderly community.
