"Noites de Bossa" is a proposal of the most exquisite selection on Brazil's known music, promising to transport you to Ipanema's magnificent warm sunsets along the beach…
Bossa Nova is the "Mellow Samba" of Rio de Janeiro, as seen by a transforming perspective of the 50's and 60's: sophisticated, transparent music, it was made to seduce.
The Artist:
More than 15 years of this artist professional singing experience can be summed up in a diverse background collage. Today in "Bossa nova" Jennifer Zea truly masters the art of interpretation and authenticity with over ten years of study and performance of the behind her.
Classics of Antonio Carlos Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes, in the tradition of Joao Gilberto, as well as the music of other well known composers of this Brazilian style are part of her repertoire.
Jennifer Zea has shared the stage with renowned performers of the European and South American Jazz and World music scene, such as Nicolas Folmer, Pablo Gil and Djalma Correa.
This experience has taken her from playing in Festivals and prestigious venues in Caracas to Rio de Janeiro, Paris, venues like Manchester Lane in Melbourne, Australia and now in Auckland, New Zealand.
On November the 14th she will be accompanied by Kevin Haines Contre-Bass, Dixon Nacey Guitar and Tony Hopkins on the drums.
