Timeless Love Story Blends Kiwi And Indian Cultures
Kiwi feature film ‘Love Has No Language’ launches in cinemas today.
Auckland, New Zealand - The timeless tale of boy-meets-girl has been given a modern, multi-cultural twist in New Zealand
film ‘Love Has No Language’, launched in red carpet style today the worldwide premiere.
The first New Zealand’s feature film of its type, Love Has No Language combines the strength of some of the finest
actors from the biggest film industry in the world – the quick paced, colorful world of Bollywood – with the best in New
Zealand cast and crew.
The unmistakable chemistry between the leading love interests, played by local heart throb Ben Mitchell and Bollywood
superstar Celina Jaitley, sizzle on screen and capture the similarities and contrasts of the Maori and Indian cultures,
set against the backdrop of the greater Auckland region.
Director Ken Khan is very pleased to re-unite with his cast & crew for the New Zealand premiere arriving from all across the world.
“It’s a simple film with a strong undertone,” says Mr Kahn. “We have tried to keep it pure as New Zealand with no
artificial masala.”

Over 60 crewmembers and more than 50 local cast were involved in the making of the film, with Pan Pacific Pictures
looking to continue with more productions between New Zealand and international collaborators in future.
Love Has No Language will be screened around New Zealand from Thursday 6th November and launched internationally to an
anticipated audience of over 65 million Bollywood fans.
