Circus Under The Stars
The opening event makes for a great family night out. CIRCUS UNDER THE STARS has become something of a pre-Christmas tradition.Staged outdoors in the D-Block Quad at CPIT itself, CIRCUS UNDER THE STARS highlights the best acts developed by the Circoarts students throughout the year. PITCH
PITCH has become a regular and regional favourite with the fashion crowd. The show presents the work of all the students at the Fashion School although the focus is on our graduating class. Francis Hooper from label World, Chris Lorimer from Mint Condition and James Dobson from label Jimmy D will be there to select the Telstraclear Design Excellence Award from among the 3rd year collections. BEAT
A combination of jazz classics, contemporary selections and new compositions featuring vocal and instrumental performances will ensure BEAT, the end-of-year performance of staff and students from the CPIT Jazz School, is a show too good to miss. Staff members involved in the show include Susan de Jong, Bob Heinz, Richie Pickard, Tom Rainey, Gwyn Reynolds and Scott Taitoko. You can book tickets to BEAT here.
FINALE
The last night ... the big night ... FINALE presents performers from all the performing arts schools in a dramatic tour de force cabaret. Mike McRoberts will MC the evening in which students from CPIT’s School of Jazz, CircoArts, Te Puna Wanaka and the National Academy of Singing and Dramatic Arts (NASDA) will perform together in a dramatic final performance that is sure to delight audiences from start to finish.
