Auction offers experiences money can’t buy!
What do you give a person who has everything? An experience they will never forget!
And there are plenty of those on offer at the Lifestyles of the Rich and Shameless Auction at the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery on 7 November.
From magical meanderings through Marlborough’s vineyards to the ultimate boy’s night out, the auction packages promise bidders a hugely exciting and enticing time.
Organised by the Friends of the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery, funds raised at this year’s auction will benefit the progress towards establishing the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery collection online.
President of the Friends, Chris Herlihy, is keen to see people don’t miss the opportunity to attend.
“The Lifestyles of the Rich and Shameless Auction is a fabulous way to launch into the 2008 festive season, and also to pick up some rare experiences and gifts for someone special,”says Chris.
“Tickets are on sale now at the Gallery and I know these will be hot items, especially with Christmas just around the corner.”
Other packages include VIP tickets to WOMAD, a capital excursion featuring luxury accommodation and exclusive tour of Webb’s Auction House, an exclusive seat in the TVNZ control room watching One News live and a behind the scenes tour of Te Papa. There’s also a chance to bid for a landscape or interior design consultation or even a good old spring clean among many other opportunities.
This year postal and phone bidding is available. The full auction catalogue is available under the special events listing on the Govett-Brewster website www.govettbrewster.com
