500 $1 return airfares for inspirational Kiwis making a difference in our lives – vote now!
As New Zealand’s only truly Kiwi airline, Air New Zealand is always being told by our Australian competitors how inferior us Kiwis are. Well, we want to show our Aussie friends what makes us Kiwis special by giving away 500 $1 return fares to inspirational Kiwis making a difference in our lives.
You can nominate or vote for those Kiwis making a real difference in your life and the lives of your friends and family. They may be people in your community, at work, at school, in your church or social group. Go to www.grabaseat.co.nz to nominate these inspirational Kiwis and tell us how they make a difference in your life, or to vote for those that have already been nominated.
Voting opens at midday on Sunday at www.grabaseat.co.nz and the 250 Kiwis with the most votes by midday Friday 17 October can fly themselves and someone else for $1 return each anywhere on the Air New Zealand domestic network.
This gives our inspirational Kiwis 26 destinations to choose from, more than five times the number of domestic New Zealand destinations available from any other carrier. Our winners can choose to explore a new corner of our beautiful country or pay a surprise visit to friends or family – the choice is theirs.
“Air New Zealand was the first airline to offer $1 fares in New Zealand, but rather than make these fares available to those who are first to our website, we wanted to do something different this time to recognise and acknowledge those Kiwis who we cherish and value in our lives,” says Air New Zealand Group General Manager Short Haul Airlines Bruce Parton
“It’s a privilege for us to know that this great deal will benefit these special people in our community.”
“So whether it’s because you think you’re Mum’s put up with more than most or you know of someone who gives it their all to help out in the local community – get nominating, and get voting!”
“It’s a way for Air New Zealand to say thanks for everyone’s support. We’re certainly giving our competitors a run for their money at present, so much so we suspect it won’t be long before one of them runs up the white flag and changes the way they operate their business if they are to have any hope of remaining viable in the New Zealand marketplace.”
For those who don’t get the $1 fares, there will be some more incredible deals available to everyone from Monday and throughout the rest of the week at www.grabaseat.co.nz.
