Hot on the heels of last week’s line up announcement, discounted earlybird tickets are now available at parachutemusic.com.
This years festival, which will be held at Hamilton’s Mystery Creek over Auckland Anniversary weekend (23-26 January 2009), boasts a strong suit of international headliners.
Acts include platinum-selling worship act Casting Crowns, Atlanta crunk-rock phenomenon Family Force Five, alt-worship outfit David Crowder Band, Portland rockers Kutless and our very own national treasure Dave Dobbyn.
Representing the locals will be Parachute Band, Rapture Ruckus, Mumsdollar, Nathan King, Kingston, All Left Out and many more.
More than 25,000 punters are expected at this year, the 19th year of the gathering. Festival goers will experience 150 bands across 6 stages during the long weekend.
As well as world-class music, Parachute will host a raft of international speakers, including head of Hillsong Australia Brian Houston and C3 San Diego’s Jurgen Matthesius.
The full line up of P09 speakers and artists are still to be revealed. Head to parachutemusic.com for all you need to know.
Earlybird tickets are available for the special price of $149, for a full weekend pass, until December 10, 2008.
Parachute 09 is made possible thanks to the support of Coca-Cola, World Vision, Hamilton City Council, C4, Life FM, The Edge and Mai FM.
