Life Pharmacy Invites Women To Take Part In New Zealand’s Biggest Makeover
Life Pharmacy is inviting Kiwi women to cast off their winter blues by participating in New Zealand’s largest beauty makeover. Life Pharmacy stores across the country will be providing personal makeovers on Thursday, 30th October, Friday, 31st October and Saturday, 1st November. All that is required to secure an appointment is a minimum $20 donation which will be passed on to national women’s cancer charity, Look Good Feel Better.
Debbie Sisam, Events and Marketing Manager at Life Pharmacy Botany, is coordinating Life Pharmacy’s involvement in the event:
‘We are proud to be part of such a fantastic initiative,’ says Debbie. ‘We are giving women an opportunity to take some time out for themselves and have an individual make-up look, skin care programme or beauty room treatment created especially for them by one of our team of experienced beauty advisors. As well as picking up some tips and tricks from our experts, every person that books in for this experience is helping to support women with cancer.’
Yvonne Brownlie, General Manager of Look Good Feel Better adds:
‘This is the first national event we have run in the 17 years that we have been in New Zealand and we are thrilled that Life Pharmacy has come on board. We are not government funded so need as much support as possible to keep our 23 centres going.
‘All donations will go towards the special hair and makeup workshops that we hold throughout New Zealand. These free workshops, which are attended by up to 3,000 women each year, provide a vital boost to self-esteem at a time when it is needed most.’
All of New Zealand’s favourite beauty houses are participating in the event including Bobbi Brown, Clarins, Chanel Beauté, Clinique, Dior, Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Lancôme, La Mer, Mac, La Prairie, Origins, Revlon, Shiseido, Smashbox and Yves Saint Laurent Beauté
Bookings can be made at any of the nationwide Life Pharmacy stores. Everyone who makes a booking will also go into a draw to win one of two baskets filled with cosmetic products, valued at $1000.
