Unforgettable scores, ingenious lyrics and breathtakingly exuberant performances create a night of non-stop musical entertainment.
Building on the success of their concert version productions of Godspell in 2005, and Smokey Joe's Cafe - The Songs of Leiber and Stoller in 2006, MARSHALL STACK & CO. present an array of modern musical theatre numbers, performed by an ensemble of some of New Zealand 's brightest musical talent.
Bringing the best of Broadway to Wellington, this intimate cabaret of 24 songs features a variety of music from recent musical theatre productions - some familiar and others perhaps less well known.
Presented at luxurious THE FRONTROOM for three nights only, Marshall Stack & Co. deliver show-stopping numbers from seven beloved modern musicals; from Rent, The Lion King and Five Guys named Moe - to Wicked, Notre Dame de Paris, Dreamgirls and Smokey Joe's Cafe.
A five-piece combo led by musical director Kate Marshall supplies the instrumental action, supporting eight singers as they lead you through songs, both upbeat and plaintive, of love won, lost, and imagined.
Featuring performers Simon Bentley, Jason Chasland, Chris Crowe, Joanne Hodgson, Bella Kalolo, Jody McCartney, Matthew Pike and Kirsten Te Rito.
Supported by the 'Five Guys Named Bro Quintet' showcasing James Illingworth [piano], Alistair Campbell [guitar], Dylan Lardelli [cello and mandolin] and Alistair Isdale [bass].
