A powerful study of the nature of EVIL and the SEDUCTIVENESS of POWER, as ALBERT SPEER, Hitler's architect and "right-hand man", seeks personal REDEMPTION
The Devil’s Architect is an intimate psychological representation of the mind of ALBERT SPEER, Hitlers’ Architect and Armaments Minister
Set during Speers’ 20 years in Spandau Prison after the fall of the Third Reich, Speer is visited by a Calvinist Priest, a Woman and his Conscience. In order to find peace Speer must come clean about his part in the Fuhrers’ grand plans and the forced labour camps, which placed the doomed lives of 800,000 workers in his hands.
The Devil’s Architect is a probing exploration ‘inside’ Speers’ head - conveying his strength, torment and catharsis.
