Christchurch Celebrates 9th Charity Spring Wedding Show
Your Day Trust warmly invites you to celebrate its 9th annual Spring Wedding Show on Sunday 21 September, 2008 in style at the
Hotel Grand Chancellor.
The carefully selected wedding professionals will create a ’bridal shopping mall’ under one roof, inspiring you with ideas and expert advise, also enabling you to plan your entire wedding.
Ali Jones of Newstalk ZB will host the two bridal fashion shows at 11:30 am and 2.30 pm for your convenience.
Preview a stunning selection of Canterbury’s award winning bridal fashion houses featuring the latest designs for the bride, groom and the rest of the wedding entourage. These include Brides of Merivale, Robyn Cliffe Couturier, Louise Anderson Bridal Designs, Avon Bridal, Still Wedding Gowns ( Reefton),Deans Suit Hire and Wilkins Formal Wear- to name a few.
This year’s catwalk will also include the latest sumptious- seductive from lingerie and swimwear for your honeymoon.
The new season’s latest colours, style and texture will certainly excite you.
Event venues and accommodations include Terrace Downs and Hotel Grand Chancellor while catering with Kiwi Cuisines and Cup Cake Parlour, Cakes Galore for wedding cakes, with venue decorators including Acropolis Wedding Hire and Distinctive Décor. Jewellery include Kennett’s Jewellery.

Be prepared to be pampered with on-site facials and massages, also sample some of delicious cuisines. Fitness includes Fortitude Fitness and Catch Fitness.
Hair and makeup artists will come up with stunning looks or you can choose your own style with Rebeka Holdaway, Mary Kay Cosmetics and Angela Minson amongst other experts.

The show starts at 10am and finishes at 4.00pm. Car parking at Hotel Grand Chancellor car park.
Tickets are $10 per person at the door. Children under ten are admitted free.

Each year the show raises funds for Child Helpline and the Royal NZ Foundation of the Blind. To date, The Trust raised over $39,000.
