Big Wednesday Winner Will Spring Into Action With New Luxury Lexus
Spring has sprung for a lucky Big Wednesday player from Auckland, as they start the season with all the comforts and luxury of a Lexus IS250 after winning the Second Chance draw tonight, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.
"Spring is a lovely time of year for a cruise in the country, and this lucky winner will be able to do that in ultimate comfort now," says Mr McLeay.
The winning ticket was sold at Botany Junction Four Square in Auckland. The winning serial number is 101-04530949-13XX.
Every ticket bought for this Wednesday's draw was entered in the Second Chance draw. The prize won was determined by the H or T selection on the first line of the ticket. As the ticket selection matched the coin toss in the draw, the ticket holder has won a Lexus IS250.
"Anyone who bought their Big Wednesday ticket from Botany Junction Four Square in Auckland should check it immediately," Mr McLeay says.
In its 150th draw, Big Wednesday's First Division has jackpotted with a $250,000 luxury travel package added to next week's prizes.
At the next draw, on 10 September 2008, Big Wednesday players will be in to win:
- $2 million;
- an Aston Martin V8 Vantage;
- an Audi Q7;
- a $250,000 American Express Platinum card; and
- a $250,000 luxury travel package.
Meanwhile, jackpotting Lotto, Powerball and Strike prizes means there is a massive $15.5 million in prizes up for grabs this weekend.
