Three reasons to Be Fabulous at Fashion Week
Moët & Chandon’s guide to being fabulous this Air New Zealand Fashion Week
The perfect accessory at this year’s Air New Zealand Fashion Week is a flute of Moët and Chandon, sipped in the ultimate
location; the Moët and Chandon Lounge.
The world’s most loved champagne is making sure that Air New Zealand Fashion Week 2009 is one to remember, with plenty
of fabulous fêtês on site throughout the week.
Reason One: Look Fabulous
Celebrate the best of New Zealand fashion both on and off the catwalk with Moët & Chandon.
Look out for the Moët & Chandon roving photographers who will be taking photos of the fashionistas on site who epitomise ‘Being Fabulous’
throughout the week. Distinctive in their ‘Be Fabulous’ t-shirts, the photographers will be taking snaps of Fashion Week
guests who have dressed to impress.
The day's best photos will be exhibited on the ‘Be Fabulous’ wall, located in the Moët & Chandon Lounge. Each day one of the most influential figures of the collections, from international editors to Kiwi
designers, will determine one winner whose style supremacy will be rewarded with a bottle of Moët to celebrate in style
at the Moët & Chandon Lounge.
Reason two: Be Fabulous Hour
For delegates and designer's guests planning their diaries for Fashion Week, an event not to be missed is the Moët & Chandon Lounge’s ‘Be Fabulous’ hour. Each day, the ‘Be Fabulous’ hour is a sophisticated and stylish interlude in the
hustle and bustle of a day spent queuing and waiting for shows to begin. What better way to catch up with other fashion
insiders than over a glass of Moët Brut Imperial? Surely the show would not start without you?
A feature of the hour will be the fabulous Moët Pomponne dress. The spectacular hoop dress, designed by Paris based
designer Saghar Rad, will make an appearance every evening. It carries 100 flutes and is used at Moët’s fabulous fêtes
across the world.
To keep that Be Fabulous theme real, Christian Dior make up artists will also be on hand in the lounge to touch up and
re-apply.
