Dan Carter And Brooke Fraser Have New Zealand's Best Smiles
Auckland, 25 August 2008: Dan Carter and Brooke Fraser have been named as the New Zealanders with the best smiles in a
recent survey[1] , undertaken by Colgate Max White Toothpaste.
The survey of 335 Kiwis aged 16-24, found that 37% of young females, and 16% of young males thought that Dan was the man
in terms of his winning grin. The All Black's straight, white teeth helped him top the list of the best 'celebrity'
teeth, followed closely by TV Presenter Dominic Bowden who scored 19% of the overall vote.
Taking the title for the females, Brooke Fraser's pearly whites and wide beam made her the hot favourite. Nearly half of
New Zealand males (49%) and 22% of females surveyed thought the singer outsmiled other female grins, such as Temepara
George and Jacqui Brown.
72% of New Zealanders surveyed rated a person's teeth as crucial or important to someone's sexual attractiveness.
The Colgate Max White survey also found that pick up lines don't work on the majority of young Kiwis (70% have never
fallen for one) and that the French kiss is the kiss of choice with 50% of respondents voting it their favourite style.
