Te Kairanga Wines shows visionary support for the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery
The Govett-Brewster Art Gallery is delighted to announce a new partnership with Te Kairanga Wines.
Carol Hullah, National Sales Manager of Te Kairanga Wines says “we are delighted at the opportunity to show our support for the Govett-Brewster. As a New Zealand owned winery with over 20 years experience in New Zealand and overseas markets we see a strong cultural alignment with the contemporary and dynamic vision of the Gallery.”
Hullah adds “we see this as a mutually beneficial partnership that can only serve to better our connection with the arts and the wider Taranaki region whilst infusing excitement into both our business and challenging our creativity.”
Te Kairanga is one of Martinborough’s founding vineyards, established over 20 years ago. Te Kairanga or TK, as it is affectionately known, is one of the most visited vineyard sites in Martinborough.
Govett-Brewster Director Rhana Devenport is thrilled to announce this new partnership.
“We are delighted to be associated with Te Kairanga Wines and are proud to welcome this visionary company to complement the excellent sponsors who so strongly support the Gallery already.”
Te Kairanga 2006 Estate Pinot Noir has recently been placed number one on the list among ten pinots from Australia and New Zealand, in the ‘40 Winter Reds’ article in the Qantas in flight magazine. Te Kairanga was one of only two New Zealand wineries named in the line up of 40 wines overall. Jake Jacob, CEO of Te Kairanga Wines says it is very exciting to be internationally recognised for producing benchmark pinots.
The relationship between the Govett-Brewster Art Gallery and Te Kairanga Wines will be facilitated by local wine merchant Michael Radich.
The outcome of this new partnership is that Te Kairanga Wines will be proudly served at the many openings and gatherings that are held at the Govett-Brewster throughout the seasons.
