Horror Film Literally Has Audiences Pooping In Their Pants.
The Spanish horror phenomenon [REC] is being released in New Zealand theatres from Aug 28th. The notorious film earned its fearful reputation for causing an audience member to actually excrete in sheer terror during its NZ Film Festival Premiere .
Incredibly Strange's Ant Timpson was impressed with the undeniable potency of the film but added that "what the individual left behind in the theatre seat was as horrifying as anything on the screen, and that's saying a lot"
For the first fearful premiere session organisers want audience members to come dressed in Zombie Makeup and be in to win $100. Special makeup fx gurus will judge just who is the best zombie.
Before the film audience members may choose to calm their nerves by drinking The Extreme Bloody Mary a special cocktail served with '5mls' of real human blood. The blood has been certified and approved for human consumption. (*)
Watch the trailer for the film here.
(*) The Extreme Bloody Mary is offered by Strange Promotions only and is in no way affiliated with the cinemas or other promotional partners .
