Garden Groove to beat winter blues
Suffering from the winter blues? Then come celebrate the cultural diversity of local South and East Auckland talent at
Garden Groove!
Garden Groove is a singing, dancing showcase of the exciting young talent South and East Auckland are home to. With
everything from the Wishing Well of India Bhangra dance group to up-and-coming Chinese rock band Lulu and the Puppets,
the event has something for everyone.
Hosted at the beautiful Auckland Botanic Gardens, the event will make an excellent Sunday outing for the whole family.
Local charity groups have been invited to set up stalls to fundraise and sell traditional foods of the different groups
that call South and East Auckland home.
The concert is being organised by local members of the National Party, as part of their commitment to social action. The
event organisers say that the event will be apolitical in nature.
"This is an exciting opportunity to showcase the cultural diversity of our city and our commitment to a multicultural
New Zealand ," say the organisers.
