Samuel Flynn Scott On Tour
Hurrah! Samuel Flynn Scott and his Bunnies on Ponies are all over July bringing you the surreal sounds of new album ‘Straight Answer Machine’ live. Oozing irresistible melodic pop tunes, Samuel and his Bunnies will light up your night with their dystopian imagery and combined tremendous talent.
Samuel F. Scott and the B.O.P are:
Samuel Flynn Scott: songwriter, vocals, guitars, keys. Samuel has spent most of his recording career working with his band The Phoenix Foundation and recently wrote the soundtrack for ‘Eagle Vs Shark’. This is his second solo album following ‘The Hunt Brings Us Life’ from 2006.
Craig Terris: drums, vocals. Craig has played in heaps of loved kiwi bands including Cassette.
Tom Callwood: bass, vocals. Wellington jazz man from The Little Bushman.
Matt Armitage: guitar, keys, vocals. Matt played guitar for many years with funk outfit Odessa.
What they’re saying so far…
“The high points of Straight Answer Machine – and there are many – are where melody and lyric effortlessly meld. I feel I have known it all my life and yet it sounds fresh each time I hear it.”
The NZ Listener
“possibly the closest thing you’re going to find to watching technicolour dolphins frolic in the sea this side of 1969”
