Whitireia Songwriters' Collective and Acoustic Pioneers presents: CHOCOLATE RAIN.
Six songwriters + zero microphones = extreme acoustic! A great lineup of performers will drop chocolate and rain at least once each during their bonsai sets of originals.  Bring your raincoat and your sweet tooth for an entertaining night!
Shan Jordan is a night writer. Gathering up thoughts and feelings of the day, she paints pictures with words to express the way she sees the world: tragedy, heartache and pain, the bitter taste of love, sadness and mistakes. Songs that linger in the mind. www.myspace.com/shandjordan
James Paul is a songwriter from Wanganui. He plays guitar. He finds this fun.
Once upon a time a child was born in a small town called Onga Onga. He was destined to become a super musician. He now lives in Wellington and disguises himself as a 23 year old human called Dylan Frater. But at night he becomes a guitar, bass and midi playing superhero, protecting Earth with his music. www.myspace.com/dylanfratermusic
Ed Cottrell is a spur of the moment musician and an acoustic singer/songwriter, drawing influences from Ben Harper & The Beatles, NZ dub/roots bands and the day to day events of life. Ed is currently exploring themes of time and its relentless continuation.
Nick Hyde is songwriter who doesn't like to complicate things. His songs are based on the belief that three chords and the truth are all you need. www.myspace.com/nickhyde88
Sounds pretty great huh!? Tell your friends - It's going to be a fun night.
