Wintergarden Becomes Festival Lounge During Int Film Festival
The Wintergarden, nestled under The Civic theatre, is a hidden treasure in the heart of the city. During the 40th Auckland International Film Festival it will transform into THE EDGE® Festival Lounge.
Offering a comfortable and intimate lounge atmosphere, THE EDGE® Festival Lounge is the perfect place to enjoy a drink before a film or afterwards to discuss your movie choice.
Open every day from 4pm, the Festival Lounge houses a fully-licensed bar, comfortable café-style chairs and expansive couches with a unique touch of Wintergarden magic, elegance and sophistication.
The space will be enhanced with old school film posters and classic Kiwi silent films courtesy of the New Zealand Film Archive.
HAPPY HOUR: 5pm – 7pm daily with selected house brands on offer at the special price of $5.00 per glass.
