Boks on the big screen tomorrow
Not got a ticket for the game this weekend? You can still join the crowd at Queens Wharf for live action on the big screen.
All things related to rugby will in fact be broadcast all weekend on the big screen. The Rugby Channel will be playing from noon until midnight tomorrow and from 10am until 10pm on Sunday.
And in the lead-up to the All Blacks vs Springboks game tomorrow, Sony will offer you the chance to play the latest version of PlayStation's Grand Turismo on the big screen, while giving away copies of the game. Game playing will take place from 5.45pm until 6.45pm.
The screen will be on Queens Wharf every weekend that the All Blacks are playing in either the Tri-Nations or the Bledislo Cup. The screen, erected by Nvisage Media, will be located beneath the sheltered area of the wharf, so games will be broadcast live no matter what the weather is like.
The central city’s liquor ban will be in place, so it is best not to bring along any alcohol. There are several bars in the area, however, that will be able to cater to everyone’s needs.
