Comedian Dave Wiggins returns to Hamilton
After a sell out show at the Hamilton Summer Gardens Festival award winning comedian Dave Wiggins returns to Hamilton with a new show. This time Wiggins performs as part of the Ignition Festival, Hamilton’s 2008 Fringe Festival.
In YANKEEISH, which premiered at the NZ International Comedy Festival in 2007, Wiggins tackles the paradox of his American heritage and his recent adaptation to the Kiwi way of life.
The show focuses on his experiences over the last six years of living in New Zealand. Wiggins explores his relatively unknown home state of Maine, a place which with a lake called Mooselookmeguntic and little ethnic diversity.
As well, he sheds some light on the changes he has made since living in New Zealand, like watching less TV because, well, there's nothing worth watching.
Don’t miss Wiggins’ hour of face paced, hilarious observational stand up.
“… truly funny… 100% entertainment.” -Theartreview
