Hey everybody,
For the past two years Highlife Entertainment has delivered one of the top New Years Eve event experiences in New
Zealand.
The last HIGHLIFE NYE EXPERIENCE at Waiheke Island’s Stonyridge Vineyard, secured its standing as the third largest New
Years Eve event in the country while also becoming the first major NYE event to sell out of tickets.
After months of planning and hard work, we are pleased to announce that a new location in the stunning East Coast
district of MATAKANA has been confirmed to host the HIGHLIFE NYE EXPERIENCE.
The MATAKANA winery district is a cruisy one hour drive from Auckland City and is neighbour to some of the North
Island’s most stunning beaches and popular holiday destinations including Mangawhai, Omaha, Pakiri, Leigh, Goat Island,
Waipu Cove, Point Wells, Matapouri, Ruakaka, Sandspit, Snells Beach and Tawharanui to name a few. All of these
summertime hot spots are situated within 5-25 minutes drive from our new site!
Together these areas offer a vast selection of accommodation options ranging from holiday homes for rent, hotels and
motels, various resorts, bed and breakfast options as well as fully serviced holiday campgrounds. Get your friends
together, book your accommodation and make a vacation out of it!
Highlife Entertainment will be providing transport options to and from the event from a number of the locations listed
above.
For those people wanting to drive from these locations to the event or up from Auckland for the night, there will be
secure parking available for over 1000 vehicles.
The MATAKANA coast and Rodney District also plays host to an array of some of the finest Vineyards and Wineries in New
Zealand with a large selection of restaurants, bars, café’s, deli’s, cinemas, golf courses, markets and other places of
interest. There are heaps of things to do here to keep you entertained and loads of places to eat and drink nearby.
Assisting me with the creation and promotion of this event will be Ali Yildiz (Owner of Spy Bar and the Café Massimo
outlets), Karn Hall (DJ, radio personality and event promoter), Stephen White (Owner of Stonyridge Vineyard) as well as
a solid crew of other good people from the industry who are involved in making this event as truly special as we plan it
to be.
Highlife Entertainment has secured a premium new venue for the hosting of this event. Our new venue, the first line up
of local and International acts and a whole swag of other information about the event including accommodation and
