NZ Music takes flight
ALT TV is delighted to welcome Air New Zealand on board as sponsor of their week of NZ music to celebrate NZ Music Month. Following a decision to play only kiwi music at airport gates, onboard aircraft and having live bands performing over summer , Air New Zealand furthers their commitment to local artists through this exciting new partnership.
The week of 24-hour music will commence with Alt TV’s flagship music show
Alt-ear-oa hosted by CHARLIE ASH’s foxlet Mailee Matthew’s, lining up alongside Alt’s 20 other specialist music shows.
Kicking off today this programme coincides with the launch of ALT TV’s live stream. An exciting day for the history of NZ television ALT TV will be the first local television station to break free of the limitations of traditional broadcasting and stream all its content live and free on the web to audiences here and abroad.
Internet Service Provider Orcon has come to the party and guaranteed hosting high-quality images and killer sound, while APRA & PPNZ have chipped in with licenses for Alt to showcase the best in New Zealand music on screen.
