Annabel Fay to Support Westlife
Pop princess ANNABEL FAY has been signed as the support act for WESTLIFE when they tour New Zealand next month.
Annabel -- who enjoyed chart success with Lovin' You Baby and Strong -- is sure to be a crowd favourite as the sell-out tour makes its way from Christchurch to Auckland starting on May 7.
Annabel's hit “Lovin You Baby”, released in November 2006, spent 16 weeks in the NZ Top 40 peaking in the Top 10 and number # 9. It was a huge first single at radio spending 15 weeks in the Top 10 most played songs and was the cross over hit of the summer being played across all formats. Strong achieved #2 overall airplay and #1 at AC radio and #1 at EASY listening radio.
The talented artist says she's thrilled to be on tour with the world's biggest boy band.

After fourteen UK No.1 singles and more than 36 million records sold worldwide, the biggest selling pop act of the last 10 years, WESTLIFE, will perform in concert in New Zealand for the very first time.
The all-boy band, who has dominated the charts since 1999 when they released Flying Without Wings, will appear in Christchurch, Wellington, Auckland and New Plymouth in May.
Westlife is a cultural phenomenon and after a decade of hits, they are still at the top of their game and continue to surprise and astound in equal measure. No modern band can compare to Westlife’s extraordinary success. In their 10 years aboard the pop express they have sold over 36 million records globally and been awarded 28 platinum discs. In the UK alone they have scored eight multi-platinum albums and a record breaking 14 number one hits (behind only Elvis and The Beatles). The band has also picked up innumerable awards and appeared on hundreds of magazine covers around the world. They are the only recording artists to win the prestigious ‘Record Of The Year’ a staggering four times (other top awards include two BRITS and an MTV Europe Award).
As well as all their hits including Seasons in the Sun and Swear It again, they will feature songs from their latest album "Back Home" when they perform in four fabulous New Zealand venues.
As a special gift to their New Zealand fans in celebration of their debut tour, Westlife will be releasing a NZ only edition of their "best of" album featuring all their greatest hits.
