Stroke And Stride Final This Week
After five long, hot months of racing this week is the final in the Stroke & Stride Series where the Series Champions and ultimate winners of the Reesby & Company sponsored $35,000 in prize money will be decided
Defending champions from last season Carmel Hanly and Brent Foster have been consummate in the defence of their titles
and look assured to be getting their names engraved on the cups once again
It's been a long time since athletes have so dominated a season with the only other athletes to score victories over the
summer being: Sophie Corbidge, Tony Dodds, James Elvery and Nicky Samuels
Stroke & Stride Race #8 is on Wednesday, March 19th starting at 6.15pm and will be contested over a 1 kilometre swim and 4
kilometre run
This race doubles as the 2008 New Zealand SWIMRUN Championship, an event that has been contested since 1993
