EP Release: "We All Want to Be Just Like You"

Published: Tue 11 Mar 2008 11:32 AM
I am now pleased to answer my own question (and many of yours) as to "when is the ep is going to be out?"
It gives me warm fuzzys, cold chills and hot flushes to announce the LTD emancipation of Crash-Test For Favourite Thing's new EP
"WE ALL WANT TO BE JUST LIKE YOU"
THIS THURSDAY 13 MARCH @ THE DOGS BOLLIX (From 9pm)
In celebration of this liberation...we have arranged a few special treats to entice your 'going out' brain (as opposed to your 'staying home' brain that is). This reference is also aimed at any imaginary friends or secondary personalities you may be harbouring that respond to a bit of cajoling in the right areas.
May I present to you: EKADEK
The one man sound scientist responsible for recording Crash-Test's ep is going to propel you across the room and into another dimension where you will be left floundering until he decides to bring you back, hopefully in one peice, ranting about an experience you cant quite put your finger on but that you know you want more of.........
After that Crash-Test will procure the stage and continue on with their own sound and image journey taking you through the ep in all its wonderous ups and thought provoking downs until we reach an equilibruim where musician meets audience and we can all go home and sleep happy in the knowledge that when we wake up we can crank our very own copies of the new extended play on our chosen device.
So especially for you (because we all want to be just like you) we have arranged a special deal:
Entry is FREE, as is a token for a FREE glass of champagne when you purchase the ep on the door (ep $15)
(champagne is limited to the first 125 people through the door)
Now to the LTD part of the release: We have arranged a special run of numbered eps 001-100 to be sold this night only! So make sure you are one of the first 100 through the door to receive your own LTD edition CD.
Remember that this is the last LIVE gig for 3 months so take this opportunity to see Crash-Test For Favourite Things now.
Whew! I am sorry if I have left you exhausted after reading this long winded email (remember it's me we are talking about here). I look forward to seeing you all on Thursday wide eyed and bushy tailed, ready for a great night!
See you there
Over and Out (for 3 months)
Amy
