When the worst happens, Victim Support is there to help put peoples' lives back together.
Last year, Victim Support helped 130,000 New Zealanders whose lives were shattered by crime and trauma, from burglary to
domestic violence. That's more than 350 people every day.
The annual Victim Support Appeal week is on nationwide from March 5 11.
The appeal week is vital for Victim Support. "Without the help of volunteers and donations from the public, we wouldn't
be able to put these lives back together, and that's just not worth thinking about," says Heather Verry, acting chief
executive at Victim Support.
