WESTLIFE sets sales record
One of the world's most popular bands Westlife has set a record in Wellington, selling out in just three hours of going on sale at Ticketek on Saturday morning.
Over 4000 tickets were sold before lunchtime.
The promoter, Ian Magan from Pacific Entertainment, says he is thrilled that Wellington has responded in such a way.
"This is a reaction befitting the a band of this calibre," says Magan.
Magan advises that very good seats are still available in Auckland, New Plymouth and Christchurch.
Tickets for the Auckland concert at Vector Arena can be purchased through TicketMaster while tickets for the concert at New Plymouth's TSB Stadium and Christchurch's TSB Arena can be purchased through Ticketek.
