The last festival of the summer and is set in the beautiful valley of Whitecliffs, 45 mins west of Christchurch, I-Nation will showcase some of the finest talent that Aotearoa has to offer.
On March 29 and 30 2008, I-Nation invites you to be part of one of the most legendary events to be held at Whitecliffs ever!!
Now in it's second year the I-Nation festival is spread over 2 days with 2 zones, displaying the finest in Drum n Bass, Jungle, Reggae, Dancehall, Hiphop, Dubstep, Jazz, Funk, Soul and Breaks. There will be camping and café facilities so that you can enjoy the full outdoor experience that Whitecliffs has to offer.
Whitecliffs has witnessed some of the most legendary events in NZ's music history. From 1983 to 1995 the site was used for the well known Whitecliffs family music festivals. As New Zealand music evolved - so did the style of outdoor parties. Whitecliffs then became host to some of this country's finest outdoor dance events including En-Train, The Gathering and New Beginnings.
This year, and for the first time ever at Whitecliffs, I-Nation is proud to bring you home town favourites, Shapeshifter for their last New Zealand appearance of 2008, along with an allstar line up of some of Aotearoa's finest musical talents.
I-Nation festival will be an event not to be missed.

SELECTED HIGHLIGHTS
Shapeshifter has been heralded as a musical phenomenon for their ground breaking live shows and unique blend of heavy soul / drum and bass, Their reputation as pioneers of modern music was built by a unique approach to electronic music which had previously been restricted to computer based studio musicians and has earned them widespread critical and commercial acclaim. Catch their last 2008 NZ appearance at I-Nation.
Tiki has spent the last eleven years playing to the world, primarily as the captivating frontman of successful NZ band Salmonella Dub. This year Tiki has left the band to explore his solo career as Tikidub. Tiki will be gracing the stage with local Jungle DJ - Gooba for an all out Jungle and Drum mash up.
Departure Lounge have accrued a strong reputation throughout New Zealand for their soulful grooves, vibrant instrumentation and dynamic live performances. The sublime sonic stylings and moody melodies of the group are written by Oakley Grenell ans performed by an allstar lineup of Christchurch musicians. They continue to have sell out shows throughout NZ and are currently recording their second album.
The Sunshine Soundsystem from Queenstown comprises of DJ DowntownBrown and MCs KP and Switch. These guys have a unique flavour of underground New Zealand Hip Hop guaranteed to get your booty shakin.
Dubwize consists of producer and selector Messenjah and vocalist Snypa Levi. They'll be bringing only the heaviest Reggae, Roots & Dancehall to I-Nation.
